Double Arming Bolt （DA bolt）

As an indispensable hardware fitting for power and distribution infrastructure, DA Bolt is applied in the following scenarios:

1.Double Crossarm Fixing: When crossarms are installed on both sides of a utility pole, the bolt runs horizontally through the pole body to firmly clamp the two crossarms, ensuring balanced stress distribution on both sides.

2. Dead-end Applications: On terminal poles and angle poles (positions subject to strong tensile force from power lines), one end of the DA Bolt is usually connected with eye nuts or tension hardware fittings to anchor and suspend insulator strings or stay wires.

3. Communication & Suspension Installation: On wooden or concrete communication poles, it is used to fasten suspension clamps and other auxiliary hardware on both sides simultaneously.

1.Wire Drawing & Cutting: Steel wire rods or steel bars are straightened and drawn to the specified diameter, then cut into bare rods of required lengths.

2.Chamfering: Both ends of the bolt are chamfered to facilitate smooth insertion into holes on wooden poles and crossarms during high-altitude field operations.

3.Thread Rolling: Thread rolling is adopted instead of thread cutting. Under high pressure from rolling dies, plastic deformation occurs on the steel surface to form threads. This work hardening process greatly improves the tensile strength and fatigue life of threads.

4.Pickling & Pre-treatment: Bolts are soaked in pickling tanks to remove scale, cutting oil and surface contaminants in preparation for galvanization.

5.Hot Dip Galvanizing: Bolts are immersed in molten zinc liquid to form a uniform and compact iron-zinc alloy layer plus a pure zinc coating on the surface.

6.Assembly & Packing: After cooling and excess zinc on threads is removed, each bolt is pre-fitted with four hot-dip galvanized square nuts. Finished products will undergo quality inspection before packaging.

1.Full Thread Design: The full thread structure allows free adjustment of nuts on both ends over a wide range. The bolt is highly adaptable to utility poles of varying diameters.

2.Standard Equipped with Four Square Nuts: During installation, two inner nuts clamp the pole and control the inner spacing of crossarms, while two outer nuts fasten the crossarms externally. This dual-side locking design effectively prevents displacement.

3.High Tensile Strength: The product delivers excellent tensile load capacity.

4.Compliance with International Standards: Its overall dimensions, thread fit accuracy (Class 2 fit in general) and mechanical properties strictly conform to relevant standards for power line hardware.
